Weather is changes in the air around us.  Rain, snow, and a sunny day are all weather.

A high temperature is called hot.  A fire is hot.  A summer day can be hot.

A low temperature can be called cold.  A winter day can be cold.  Ice is very cold.

We can measure how hot or cold something is.  This is called temperature.

Water droplets can fall from clouds.  This is called rain.

Water can freeze inside clouds.  This can make snowflakes.  Snowflakes fall from the clouds as snow!

The Sun shines on the Earth.  Some days there are no clouds on the sky, and the sun shines brightly.  This is a sunny day!
