There are four seasons.  The seasons are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.  Temperature and other things can change with different seasons!

Spring is in March, April, and June.  In spring it gets warmer.  Plants start to grow!

In summer it can be hot and sunny.  Summer is a good time to go to the beach, or play outdoors!

In autumn it gets colder.  Leaves can change colors and fall from the trees.

In winter it can be cold.  In some places it can snow in the winter.

Sometimes there are not many clouds.  The Sun can shine on the Earth.  This is called sunny.  It can be sunny in any season!

Snowflakes can fall from clouds.  This is called snow.  The weather can be snowy when it is snowing outside.

Wind is moving air.  A day with fast or strong wind is called windy.

There can be lots of rain and lightning.  There can be thunder.  Thunder is the sound lightning makes.  This is called a thunderstorm.

Lightning is electricity in the sky.  It is very bright.  it makes a sound called thunder.
