A volcano is made of rock.

Under a volcano is magma.

Magma is very hot, soft, melted rock.

Magma pushes up and out of a volcano.

Magma is called lava when it is out on earth.

Magma pushes out of the volcano and onto earth.

This is called to erupt.

A volcano can erupt when there is a lot of pressure inside the Earth under the volcano.

Lava pushes out of the volcano and onto land!
