What is the Solar System?

The Solar System has eight planets, their moons, and our sun.

Earth is in our solar system.

The planets go around our sun.

The planets in our Solar System are called:

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

The planets go around the Sun.  This is called the orbit.

The moons go around their planet.

Together this is called the Solar System.
