The Sun gives us light and heat.  Light is made of tiny parts called particles.  Light makes waves.

Light moves in waves.  Sound can make waves.  Sound makes air moves back and forth.  It makes waves.  This is called to vibrate.  Sound vibrates. The tiny parts of light called particles move back and forth, or p and down.  This is called a wave.  We cannot see the waves.  But we see light!
