How We Talk

We can make sounds.

We make sounds when we talk and sing.

We push air from our lungs through our throat.

Inside our throat are vocal cords.

The vocal cords move back and forth.

This is called to vibrate.

This vibration makes sounds.

We can move our mouth in different ways to change sounds.

We can talk!
