We can move, push, pull, or break things.  We are using energy and force to change something.  This is called work!

A force can change things.  Push and pull are forces.  A force can start, change and stop things.

Forces can change things.  A ball is stopped.  We kick it.  Now it is moving.  We catch a moving ball.  Now it is stopped.  We bat a ball and it changes directions.  These are all changes.

Things can have energy.  The Sun has energy.  It helps things grow.  When we move we use energy.  Energy helps us to work and move.  Food gives us energy.
