Things move!

Sometimes things start to move slower.

A ball rolls on the floor.

The ball is smooth.

The floor is smooth.

The ball moves fast.

Put a ball on a carpet.

The carpet is not smooth.

It has lots of bumps on it.

This makes friction.

Friction slows things down.

The balls rolls slower.

This is called friction.
