Forces change things.

Kick a ball.

It makes the ball move!

A ball will keep moving in the same direction unless something changes it.

A ball will stay still unless something moves it.

Forces move the ball.

Kicking the ball puts force on the ball.

Something staying in the same place is called interia.

Something moving in the same direction is called inertia.

Forces can change the ball!
