Rotate:

A planet spins.

This is called to rotate.

This imaginary line is called the axis.

The Earth rotates around its axis.

Orbit:

Planets go around the Sun.

This is called to orbit.

Orbit means to go around.

The Earth orbits the Sun.

Other planets also orbit the Sun.

Moons orbit around a planet.

Something that orbits around something else is called a satellite.
