What is a Weather Front?

An air mass is a big piece of air.

An air mass can be hot or cold.

An air mass can be wet or dry.

Air masses can push into each other.

This makes a front.

A front is two air masses pushing in to each other.

When two air masses push into each other the weather changes.

The weather can change from hot to cold.

Or cold to hot.

When two air masses push together it can make rain or snow.
